Altex is a family-owned clothing com-pany founded in Athens, Greece, in 2003 by Yannis K. Alexiou.

The company employs 44 people in Greece and the production countries-designing, developing, selling and marketing Altex brands. So far Altex focus has been mainly on men’s fashion.

Today, our clothes and accessories target young men and women of the 16-35 age group, and they are sold under the brand names: 2NDSKIN (2009), FUNKY BUDDHA (2003), GARAGE55 (2011) REPUBLIC (2013).

Our clothes and accessories are distributed in Greece, Cyprus, The Benelux and Spain through over 300 independent retailers. The company also operates 10 SIS and 3 Stand Alone Shops.

Altex outsources the production line to loyal suppliers. Approximately 70% of the production takes place in China and the rest mainly in Bangladesh and Turkey.

Throughout the past 10 years, Altex has been characterized as “value for money” by offering high quality at the right price. Our philosophy has always been: “Sell more at affordable prices”. This is also true today.
