I opened my image in PhotoShop and immediately started playing with filters in order to get the artistic look I needed to match the house style of Little White Lies. By going Filters > Artistic I was able to find many filters which I found to be interesting.

The one that I chose was ‘Poster Edges’, as it gave my image a creative, cartoony feel which I felt linked in strongly with the style of LWL, while still keeping the image realistic and romantic.

Then I simply cropped my image to the 210x297 ratio it needed to be, and then changed the image size to the same in mm. The image then became a shoulders and above shot, which still works.

I changed the curves, colour balance, and contrast of the image, all to make it seem brighter and more cartoonish, using red and purple hues to connote towards the romantic genre of the film.
