About TenneT

• TenneT is responsible for connecting electricity producers

to the high-voltage grid

• TenneT does not distinguish between different producers and is

obligated by law to connect all parties to the grid

As Europe’s first cross-border grid operator, TenneT has been safeguarding the

security of supply in the Netherlands and large parts of Germany since 2009:

Offshore goals of federal government until 2022: 13.000 MW in total, 11.000

MW to be connected by TenneT.

With a fixed investment volume of approx. 6 billion Euro TenneT is largest
