When did the Indians come?
The Indians started immigrating to New Zealand in the late 81th century.
In 1846 there were 46 Indians in New Zealand.
1916 there were only 181 male Indians and 14 females had arrived.
2006 there was over 106,000 Indians calling New Zealand home.
How Did Indians Immigrate?
Indians immigrated on big british ships to immigrate to New Zealand.
A male Indian got on a ship and immigrated to New Zealand and married a New Zealander woman.
What Challenges Indians Faced To Get To New Zealand
When the Indians arrived in New Zealand in the late 18th century the New Zealanders were not happy. The New Zealanders were mean to them by being racist at them and are not helping them.
They faced the push, pull and obstacles factors to get to New Zealand.
The obstacles they faced was leaving their family behind, their friends and there things that they could not take with them behind.
New Zealand has thousands of Indian people all over the country. The Indians immigrated on big ships because india is overpopulated, underemployment and underpaid and in New Zealand there isn't overpopulation's, underpaid, underemployment and many problems. In 2006 there were 106,000 calling New Zealand home. But in 1896 there were 181 male Indians and 14 females.
