PRODUCTIVITY 101 : KNOW YOUR IPA’S

Page 2: Internet Marketing Strategies | Productivity and IPAs

DOES THIS PICTURE LOOK FAMILIAR?

It looked like me …a chicken with my head cut off…Until I learned that 80% of my time should be focusedon IPA’s or Income Producing Activities.

Sometimes we think that we are being productive but we are just being busy doing busy work …not activities to bring in Income from our business…

Know Your IPA’s

The Top 3 Income Producing Activities

1. Share Your Opportunity2. Build New Relationships3. Follow Up

1. Share Your Opportunity – Prospecting

Here is a quick way to tie in your income goals to sharing your opportunity:

$1,000 per Month = 2 Quality People Per Day

$5,000 per Month = 5 Quality People Per Day

$10,000 per Month = 10 Quality People Per Day

**Quality People** = People that you have exposed your business to and have watched or attended:

Remember…You are not really in business unless you are sharing your opportunity.

2. Build New RelationshipsThis is very important…

Build the relationship with people First

…Then share your opportunity.

Mingle with new people online and offline…

Break that habit of being shy and socialize more…

Online: Join Facebook Groups…not the spam groups but groups that talk about business and current events. Join Forums and participate in Google Hangouts…

…and add value to these groups and they will see you for the leader that you truly are!

3. BEWARE OF THE TIME TRAP!!!

TRY TO LIMIT YOUR TIME TO A FOCUSED HOUR A DAY OR 20% OF YOUR BUSINESS HOURS ON SOCIAL MEDIA…

Especially if you are working your home business part time….

UNLESS YOUR ARE DONE WITH YOUR IPA’S FOR THE TIME YOU SCHEDULE FOR WORKING YOUR BUSINESS FOR THE DAY…

…Go for it if you are using your FREE Scheduled time.

Use posting tools such as Buffer, Post Planner or Hootsuite to schedule your posts throughout the day and to give you more time to do Income Producing Activities (IPA's)

Expand your horizons and meet live people or put in place other marketing methods of sharing your opportunity…It only expands your reach to people looking for your opportunity…

We really do not realize how much time we waste and opportunities missed because we do not work our schedule properly…

***Two Points To Remember: 80% of your business hours should be spent

doing IPA’s No Selling—Just Building Relationships.

The Most Important IPA of All…

3. The Follow Up

I know that you have heard the saying…

“The fortune is in the follow Up”

This is the most overlooked step in the process…

We do all of the work of building the relationship, sharing the opportunity, then drop the ball and not follow through with the follow up to move forward…

Follow up with :leadspeople that you put the business in front ofPeople who said no for now but maybe later

It is a matter of making your fortune or losing a fortune…
