Latest fashion Trends: Bold Stripes

We all know that most trends are seasonal. Important for a certain time period and soon forgotten as

soon as the next best thing rolls around. Even in trends though, we have variation. There are some

trends that will die out in a season like the over the top and reserved for a few Tiara trend and some

more timeless trends. This includes pieces like the chambray shirts, the wrap dress and the coveted

trench coats that started out as trends fated to disappear but instead became classics. In this same elite

group of fashion trends is bold stripes. Bold stripes started out in the nautical loving time of the early

2013’s.

Bold Super Nova

Designers paired the early bold stripes with seaworthy clothes that were marketed as “summer

ready” and even as far as themed. Those days are long gone and nowadays stripes, in general, are seen all year around and definitely not themed in any particular way or form. Bold stripes, in particular, are making a huge comeback in 2016. Seen on anything from evening gowns to casual

outerwear. Designers seemed to be moving away from graphic bold prints of last year and moving towards adding color and juxtaposition by adding stripes.
