For the time-being we will continue to use the paper system as well.As for the computer system, the first task is to scan the Docket QR Code.Touch the panel ‘Scan a Job’ …

… and offer the QR code to the scanner mountedon top of the unit …

… This will create a ‘Job Ticket’ in the Jobs area, which isa storage location for all new scans.

Next, use your finger on the touch screen to drag that Job Ticketonto the date you want the job installed (This is the equivalentof writing the Job in the correct box of the paper system) …

The Job has now been moved onto the preferred day (the day-box will expand to accommodate as many jobs as required) … You can scan back and

forth to bring the correct week into view.

If the Job is scheduled for more than one day, use the darktab at the right side to drag the ‘Ticket’ out across as manydays as needed …

… or back down to One Day …

At this stage, you could also dragthe job to a different day, or intothe Trash Can if it was a mistake.

You are now done with the Docket Logging. Leave the Docket on the rack for Rocky’s attention.(And, for now, also complete the old paper system)

Back at your own desk, you can view the Docket screenon your own computer by means of a desktop link thatwill be provided.

What’s more, you can still move and stretch theJob around the days, as already shown, fromyour own desktop (though you will need to goto the host-station to scan anything new).

The next step will be for Rocky to pick up your Job andassign it to a crew on the main Installation system.Once he has done this …

… the display on the new screen (and on your desktop web-view)will turn green, indicating that the Job has been picked up and assigned. You will no longer be able to access or move it.

Summary

• Print the Fixing Docket and take it to the Production Office

• Touch the ‘Scan a Job’ Button

• Use the system scanner to read the QR Code from the Docket

• Drag the ‘Ticket’ from the Jobs area to the required date box

• If necessary, stretch it out over several days

• For the present time, also complete the paper logging sheet

• Leave the paper Docket on the rack for Rocky’s attention

• You can access the screen from your desktop and ..

• Continue to move the Job around until ..

• It turns green and locks, meaning it has been assigned to a crew.
