The Procurement Process:What is a PQQ?
Pre Qualification Questionnaire Process to enable the council to select and shortlist suitable potential
suppliers to be invited for tender.
Why do we have a PQQ? To obtain sufficient information to evaluate the suitability of organisations
and ensure they are capable of providing the service. It is the only stage available to the authority in establishing:
Organisational and financial standing. Experience.
Technical capability. Resource capability.
What is a tender?A suppliers formal bid or other offer in response to a contracting authority’s
enquiry or invitation to tender.
Where do I find them?
www.londontenders.org
London Tenders Portal The London Borough of Sutton has transformed the way it procures goods, services
and works. All tender opportunities are now advertised on the Council's website and through an e-tendering portal which is also used to conduct the tender process.
Advertisements will also be published in the Official Journal of the European Union as required.
To take part in any tender exercise and/or to be able to express an interest in a contract with the London Borough of Sutton, first you must register ProContract with
basic details about yourself and also the company that you work for.
By registering on the portal, you will receive automatic email notifications when any tenders are advertised for the categories you have registered your company for.
Please take the time to register your organisation FREE by visiting www.londontenders.org
