Constructionshowedthebiggestgainwitha12.6percentincrease,followedbygrowthinfinancialactivities,leisureandhospitalityandotherservices.

Month-to-month,growthinthestate'sseasonallyadjustednonfarmpayrollsremainedsteadybetweenJuneandJulywithanadditionof3,900jobsanda0.6percentincrease.

Idaho'slaborforceincreasedbyalmost1,500to811,850,totalemploymentgrewby1,000to781,020andafterremainingflatfor threeconsecutivemonths,thenumberofunemployedIdahoansincreasedby500inJuly.Combined,thesefactorsresultedinaslightbumpinthestate'sseasonallyadjustedunemploymentrate,upatenthofapercentfromJune.Thelasttimethestate'sunemploymentrateshowedanyincreasewasinApril2015.

Thestate'slaborforceparticipationremainedunchangedat64.1percent.

Nationallyunemploymentheldsteadyat4.9percent.
