2. 4Walls

Our Aims and Vision

We feel that there is a need for a sympathetic environment amongst and for our peers. The 4Walls initiative aims to provide support which we feel is lacking in order to continue practicing as artists. We are interested in promoting independent practices within a supportive community

• 1) Holding regular peer workshops with Crit Group, where the group can share work in progress and discuss current issues.

• 2) Organising independent group exhibitions, as well as supporting solo projects within the group.

• 3) Facilitating Test Ground - an experimental project where members of the group can present final work. This work will be critiqued through discussion and another member of 4 Walls will create a new piece of writing or drawing in response to this work.

• 4) Disseminating documentation of all the projects encompassed under 4 Walls through a website and annual publications.
