This image is shot in black and white to illustrate the texture and tone of the image, the emotion the viewer is enhanced by having a lack of colour as the image feels drained of energy or life, the composition of the image focuses on the perspective of the woman who is playing her instrument and facing the crowd, the image portrays what it feels like to be in this position. The target audience is shown in this image a brighter side of their community and something that can be taken for granted in everyday life.

This image captures an ironically pitiful image of the collapse of a building. The colours are very bleak and dark as to show the degradation of the building is shown in the shadows, as the rust can be seen working its way through the sign ‘BEAUTY’, The lighting is fairly bright and in my opinion this shows the tonal range of the colours in the image really well, and gives the image an otherworldly feel, this appeals to the target audience in my case as it would make them understand the state of their community and the help that they could give to it.

This image is shot in black and white because of the textures, shapes and lines, the composition of this image uses leading lines to draw the eye to the subjects along them, and to pay attention to the small details as the eye brushes past them. This applies to my audience as they get to have a good looking image highlighting some of the places of the city/town that they perhaps wouldn’t have seen before.

This image shows the depth of field really well without using a lower f number. It also creates the idea of a far off place chained off from the photographers experience, the birds flying towards the salvation creates a look of disparity and sadness. This image was created using a Nikon f3 and Ilford Hp5. This appeals to my target audience as the image features probably one of the best parts of this photographers city, this would show the viewer parts of where they live in possibly a new light and spark some interest.
