Feedback we received After we showed these three poster designs to the group of 17-18 year olds we received feedback and opinions on each one.

Everyone prefered the two posters with the image that is a mid-shot and the where the gun is more visible; we also agree with this. The majority prefered the poster with the purple geometric shape background and this is what we expected as it is more common on blockbuster posters.

We also received feedback that was the cutting around the image in the foreground is a bit messy and as this is our rough cut we expected this and is something we improved on. Since, we have cut the image a lot smoother and it blends in with the background a lot more.

We have the used poster conventions as we have a bold title, a tagline and the actors name. Finally, we received feedback on how strong the brand identity is and this is something we are pleased with as we have worked hard to create this identity for our marketing campaign.

Prefered PosterThis is the poster that was prefered by the audience we presented our marketing campaign. This was also our favourite poster we had made because of the strong colours that we used, however we may fade the background because we want the main characters to stand out more.

Further Poster Development Since we presented our poster, we have developed it further and worked on the feedback we were given. We have re-cut the main image in the foreground and also added shadows of these characters and this is lot more effective than having two plain images. We have also made the billing block smaller as this is something we noticed was too large when it was on a bigger screen. Another thing that was pointed out when we were given feedback was the company logo and we are going to change the Warner Bro’s company logo to our own. This is because at the time we made the rough cut we hadn't created our own film company and distribution idents.
