RACE FORMAT
VENUE AND COURSE OPENING TIMES
Racing will be run in accordance with the FISA Rules of Racing, including Appendix 22 – Coastal Rowing Com-petition Regulation; and Appendix 23 – Beach Rowing Sprints Regulation

The races courses will be in waters around turning points, for Beach Sprint with on-beach starts and finishes, while for Endurance with on-water starts and on-beach finishes.
The venue will be open for accreditation and registration beginning on Wednesday 21st October from 10:00 a.m.?
The courses will be officially open for training from 8:00 a.m. on Thursday 22nd October 2020. Training times will be arranged on a booking basis.

EVENTSEntries are encouraged from both clubs and national teams crews, in line with the eligibility requirement that a rower shall be a member of a club recognized by the member federation’ and the entry sanctioned by their National Federation.
Crews are to confirm their entries at registration at the regatta venue by 5:00 p.m., Wednesday 21st October 2020. Any crew who has not confirmed their entry by that time may be assumed to be not competing and may be removed from the Drew.
ACCREDITATION
UNIFORM
Crew members and team officials will receive and accreditation card during registration.
Team leaders or Crew Captains will be required to bring photo identification (passport or international iden-tification card) of all crew members to collect the accreditation cards for their crews. All competitors are required to carry their accreditation cards with them throughout the Challenge.
According to 2018 FISA Rule Book (para. 18.1.2), each crew member shall also display on their racing shirt or equivalent the three-letter country code and their family name (in Romanised text) in the following manner and format:

RENTAL

The Organizing Committee (OC) will provide pool boats & oars for shared use on a rental basis. All boats and other equipment shall comply with FISA Rules and Racing, including specified safety equipment. All pool bo-ats & oars will be shared between teams, and the OC cannot guarantee crews will have the same equipment each day.
The rental charge for oars is €tbn per day per pair for both training and competition days. Full payment should be settled by tbn.
Official pool boat rental charges is €tbn per rower (include one training session per day on training days). Full payment should be settled by tbn. for payment after this date the charge will be € tbn per rower.
Due to the limited space in the venue, teams bringing their own boats must notify the OC before the deadline of tbn.
As per FISA Rules, it is compulsory to carry in the boat a life jacket for all crew members. The OC will provide sufficient life jacket for all pool boats. Teams may bring their own life jacket and if they are bringing their own boats should also supply their own life jacket.

Competition Venue
Due to health issues, all crews are strongly recommended to have all meals at the organised hotels and the venue.
Restaurants and bar in the venue accept cash and credit card.
Breakfast times will be displayed at the arranged hotels.
Free WiFi is available at the venue (password will be given at the registration desk).
Bag Drop and Lost & Found counter is open during official venue hours and will be located in a dedicated area. Teams are encouraged to leave all bags at the Bag Drop each day and not to leave belongings unat-tended. All bags must be collected each day before venue closing. The Organising Committee will not take responsibility for any bags left overnight.
Changings Rooms is open during official venue hours and will be located in a dedicated tent.
Toilets and showers will be available for participants in the competition area. Chemical toilets will be available in the venue.
All ERCC participants are reminded to keep these areas clean and tidy and to respect the use by Club mem-bers.

TRANSPORTATION
Teams should book their own accommodation direct-ly with hotels. The OC agreed with the below hotels indicative prices for the whole period with convenient proximity to the venue. Considering the Covid period, we strong recommend to book in the suggested hotel, but in case of different decision, we kindly ask you to let us know the selected hotel in order to set up con-venient procedure.
The Pisamover connect the Pisa Airport with the Rail Station.
From Pisa Train Station you can reach Castagneto Carducci Train Station directly, then the touristic train will be at our disposal for the whole event days to reach Marina di Castagneto.
