OISCA Projects/Chapters/Offices follow the procedure of selection of candidates and send the headquarters their names and sets of necessary documents as listed below. They must reach the headquarters before Saturday, 12th August 2017. .~" 2. The OISCA headquarters goes through the documents to check if they have been properly filled out. They are subject to scrutiny in regard to the consistency/ regularity of curriculum vitae, certificate of employment, educational certificate, desired training subject and job/education/training in the past. 3. The headquarters-and training centers in Japan hold a consultation to select trainees on 11 Ih September 2017 (tentative). 4. The headquarters will notify the Projects/Chapters/Offices of the names of the selected trainees about Monday, 25 th September 2017. 5. The OISCA Projects/Chapters/Offices who have trainees to be admitted, prepare promptly the documents for the application for the certificate of eligibility, and send them to the headquarters. They much reach the headquarters before Saturday, 4th November 2017. 6. The headquarters apply for the certificates of eligibility in the middle of November 2017. 7. Upon receiving the certificate of eligibility, the headquarters arranges/coordinates the dates for the trainees to arrive in Japan for the 2018 courses. 8. Arrival of trainees (February - April 2018) The dates of arrival may differ according to the training centers) List of necessary documents for application (for each candidate) Application (in the prescribed form) V V Pass photos (3cm x 4cm) 3 copies A copy of passport (the pages of photo and other personal description), or their birth certificate (Their name and date of birth must be clear and legible. If the description is only in local language, please translate them into English) Curriculum Vitae (in the prescribed form) Application for Desired OISCA HRD Program (in the prescribed form) Medical certificate (this must mention without fail any chronic complaint) Education certificate (a copy of certificate of completion of school/college course/last education) Employment certificate (certificate of enrollment), current job Training Dispatch Notice (in the prescribed form) (please leave the subject, the place of training, duration blank) .•. Summary of Sending Organization (in the prescribed form) .•. Planning after completing training program (made by sending organization) .•. Recommendations and Reasons for Nominating the Candidate (in the prescribed form) .•. In case that an OB/OG is a candidate, the reason why they need the training (in a free form). If they cannot write it in Japanese or English, they may use a person who writes for them (put the name of the person who has written for their place) (in principle this' can be accepted for candidates from Myanmar and Indonesia). Others:If the candidates are OB/OO who will join the course for the OB/OO, there must be more than 3years of interval from their previous training in Japan.Please write the reason why they need to re-training (as mentioned above) with special referenceto the following: interrelatedness of the earlier training and the course in 2018, how the newcourse is necessary and relevant to the earlier training for their capacity building, reasons to join2018 course, and plan for future activities/career.If multiple candidates desire to take the same course beyond the quota, adjustment andcoordination will be made between the training centers.In the course of the final screening, the headquarters may call you to inquire about yourcandidates.

Documents after the final screeningThe candidates who have passed the final screening need to submit the above documents (from (1) to(13) to obtain the certificates of eligibility. All of the documents are should be in original (documentsin copy will only for documents (3) and (7)), need to be sent by post and must reach the headquartersbefore Saturday, 4th November 2017.

Other important matters we would like to invite your attentionIn recent years, our applications for the certificates of eligibility for more than ten new traineeshave been rejected by the immigration office. The reason overall was the immigration office hasbecome increasingly strict and meticulous in their examination. Please note the following werethe specific reasons given us for rejecting our applications.(1) The immigration office cannot agree that after the completion of the training course the

candidates will have jobs involving the techniques/skills that will be acquired in thecourse

(2) The immigration office cannot agree that the skills/knowledge imparted through the trainingcourse will be utilized in their home countries judging from the past career/work experienceof the candidates.

More than half of the rejections were for the reasons as mentioned above. So please take thefollowing into consideration in selecting your candidates.(1) The trainee's past career/record! background must agree with the desired training subject(2) All the particulars in their curriculum vitae must be consistent, matching with each other

(dates must be accurate and correct, there must be no gaps, no contradictions)(3) Certificate of education, certificate of employment, certificate of registration/ enrollment

must be prepared and sent us without fail.
