Just four properties now remain at the unique development of the historic Fair Mile building at Cholsey Meadows, in 100 acres of parkland near the River Thames in Oxfordshire.

The teams baked cakes, served teas and coffees, held raffles and competitions and a brave few even took part in Ice Bucket Challenges to raise money for the charity. The Faringdon branch won Lead-ers’ competition for the best selection of cakes on offer, raising £375 for Macmillan.

our target of £25,000 that we pledged to raise for Macmillan as our chosen charity partner this year.

“A huge thank you to our cus-tomers, local businesses and the public for coming along to support our events.

“Macmillan is an amazing charity which provides much-needed practical, medical and financial support to those diagnosed with cancer and their families. It is close to the hearts of many of our staff and customers who have had per-sonal experience of Macmil-lan’s support or know some-one who has.”
