Monday: Speech

1. 10 minutes: Review your speech. Try and say it in your head without looking at your printed speech.

2. Go through student feedback form/rubric.

3. In pairs, give your speeches (make use of the space in the room and separate yourselves). Everyone should listen and give feedback to at least two speeches.

You’ll be presenting to the class tomorrow. Make sure to bring your rubric and printed speech. Remember all the feedback you received from the personal and impromptu speeches. SLOW DOWN, make use of punctuation, and use your VOICE to show emotion and meaning.

3. Abbreviated Words:• ‘tis = it is• e’er = ever• e’en = even
