They are ne- glected and deprived from the education, health and any other citizen rights. Nagorghata Rishi com- munity is one of the disadvantaged communities. Rishilpi started education intervention in the com- munity through a Community Primary School (CPS) in 2003. The CPS enables the opportunity of pri- mary education for the children as well as sponsor- ship support by ESP promotes higher education. Dino & Lella an Italian couple adopted a daughter named Sathi Das from the village. Every year they visit the village and they were inspired to see the Rishilpi’s development activities. They took the re- sponsibility of CPS and the community for it’s devel- opment. Nagorghata is now become a second home of this Italian couple. Their dream is not only for their adoptive daughter, but they are dreaming for every child of the community and for their educa- tion. Rishi people of the community are very happy to have Dino Lella as their friends and well- wishers. They are very grateful for their dedication and love for their community. Being a change agent Dino Lella are committed to bring hope for this outcaste community. Dino Lella visited the Nagorghata Community Priamry School on 30th November 2015

Dino & Lella for welfare of Nagorghata Rishi community

Rishi people are detached from the mainstream society due to their caste and culture. They are ne-

glected and deprived from the education, health and any other citizen rights. Nagorghata Rishi com-

munity is one of the disadvantaged communities. Rishilpi started education intervention in the com-

form for the hearing im-

paired children to promote

their rights. Students of

SSHIC are participated dif-

ferent completion organize

by Government institute.

SSHIC has recognition in

Satkhira district that chil-

dren of the school are com-

petent in cultural activities.

So, different institute offer

SSHIC to participate the

game and cultural events.

Students of the school have

marked their competence

in different events in draw-

ing, easy competition,

sports and cultural per-

formances. In November

2015, two students have

participated the sports

competition in the occasion

of NABANNO UTSHOB

(New Crops Festival) or-

ganized by District Children

affairs department and they

have won the first and

third prize in different two

events.

Exhibition on

Appropriate Paper base Technology (APT) Appropriate Paper base Technology (APT) promotes environment

friendly and comparatively cheap devices making by recycling pa-

per. The devices produced by Rishilpi mostly uses for rehabilita-

tion of children with disability . Rishilpi Health Program Organized

an exhibition of APT devices on 23rd November 2015 at Rishilpi

Conference Hall.

The honorable deputy commissioner of Satkhira district Md. Naz-

mul Ahasan was present as chief guest in the program. He appreci-

ated the rehabilitation approaches of Rishilpi and assured his

every cooperation from the part of Government. Founder Director

of Rishilpi Mr. Vincenzo Falcone conveyed his thanks and gratitude

to the chief guest for his kind presence and cooperation.

Bangladesh

A five member’s team of

Italian sponsors/donors

has arrived to Rishilpi

Bangladesh on 14th No-

vember 2015 for a month

long visit. They are: Dino &

Lella, Carletto & Rosanna

and Valeira Poeta. During

the visit they have meet

with their adoptive chil-

dren and get together with

the students of Community

Primary School in different

villages. Ms. Valeria Poeta

worked for Health Program

for planning, designing,

providing orientation to

staffs and organized an ex-

hibition on paper made as-

sistive devices.

scholarship in talent

pool category

Students of Rishilpi Center

School (RCS) has been

awarded scholarship in

talent pool category. Life

Line Edcuation Project of

Bikolpo Bekar

Karmasanstan (BIBEK) has

organized the scholarship

distribution ceremony on

14th November 2015 at

Advocate Abdur Rahman

College. Total of 14

students from Rishilpi

received the scholarship

money BDT.300 for each

with a certificate from

BIBEK

Success story : 01

Abu Musa can walk independently

Abu Musa is a child with cerebral palsy. He has been suffering

some physical inability from his early child hood. His father Mofi-

jul Rahman is a small traders

and mother Lota Khatun is

housewife. He was under

treatment of Physiotherapy

department. Physiotherapist

assessed him and found some

problems such as no crawling

ability, not able to stand and

walk independently.

As follow the treatment plan

he received treatment from

Kalaroa CBR for 6 years and

gradually improved. He is now

able to walk independently

and able to do his ADL

(Activities Daily Living) prop-

erly. This is very wonderful

moment for his family mem-

ber to find their child is walking independently. Musa is studying in

special education now. His parents have a dream to inclusive him

in mainstream education.

Success story : 02

Parboti built a golden family

Parboti Mondol got marry and leading a happy conjugal life with her

husband. She was a sponsored girl

(Id.No.3691) of Edcuation Support

Program (ESP). She was adopted in

2001 and has completed

graduation (Bachelor Degree) with

the help Rishilpi. Her father is a

farmer and mother is a housewife.

They live in Assannagor village.

The family was not able to bear the

edcuation cost of Parboti. Several,

they tried to give her marriage, but

she refused and want to contiunue

the education. ESP provided her

every support for her edcuation.

She was a member of Amar Sonar

Paribar (ASP), group-53. She

entered into a conjugal life and

built golden family. Now she is

living with her husband.Her

hasband is educated person and working in a Digital Computer

Center in Satkhira. She is very gratful to Rishilpi and also grateful to

her sponsor

Rishilpi Water Treatment

Project has set up four

Community Filter (CF) in

different three village with

the kind collaboration of

ROSSANO . The villages are:

Horikhola, Satani and Indira.

Another Community Filter

has been set up at

Horinkhola CPS with the

support of Mrs. LUISA

ANTONELLI. Purpose of the project is to

water purification using

affordable technology and

create sustaible & clean

water source in the

community. Key objective of

the acitivites is to prevent

water borne diseases and

reduce health hazzard

caused by iron and arsenic.

People of three villages and

Students of Horinkhola CPS

are now very much happy to

find the good water source

in their village. They are

very grateful to the donors

as well as thankful to

Rishilpi. Technical Specialist

Mr. Paolo Mantellini moni-

tors the filter and ensures

that regular water test per-

form effectively.

Display performed by Rishilpi Center School Satkhira District Administration has organized

an inauguration program of ''Walton District Administration Cup

Football Tournament-2015'' on 14th November 2015 at Satkhira

Stadium. As of Government requirement RCS has participated the

display focusing our national heritage that has been

highly appreciated by the Government Authority and present audi-

ence. Total of 160 students attended the display. Honorable

divisional Commissioner of Khulna Division Mr. Abdus

Samad was present in the program as chief guest. He has watched

the display of RCS and expressed his pleasant feelings for attractive

display and relevant theme. At the end, he inaugurated the football

tournament

Community awareness on safe drinking water

Rishilpi Water Treatment Plant (WTP) project organized an aware-

ness session at Basundhara Community Primary School on 23rd No-

vember 2015. Purpose

of the meeting is to

make the community

people aware about the

harmful effect of Iron

and Arsenic. Mr. S. M.

Mahmudur Rahman,

Chemist of WTP con-

ducted the awareness

program. Total of 50

parents along with CPS

students were present

on the session. He intro-

duced the different technology of water purification and how to en-

sure maintenance of the devices like deep Tube well, AIRP and Com-

munity Filters.
