Clinic Description Technique, Artistry & Presentation is a 5.5 hour on and off-ice clinic led by 1992 Olympic Silver Medalist, World Professional Figure Skating Champion, US Figure Skating Hall of Famer and PSA Master Rated Coach, Paul Wylie. Paul is known for his exquisite artistry, sharp and controlled footwork and proven jump and spin technique. This clinic will focus on helping skaters to improve their body positions, spin entries, edges, jump and spin technique and skating performance. Prerequisites: All ages and passed Basic Skills Level 6 and up to the highest levels of Moves and Freestyle. Because of Paul’s extensive competitive background as well as coaching and mentoring National and Olympic skaters, there is no maximum level for this clinic. Skaters up to the highest levels can benefit from Paul’s expertise. Size of the Clinic and Levels: So that optimal time and attention is provided to all skaters, the clinic will be capped at 60 total skaters. There will be two groups of 30 skaters alternating on and off the ice. Each group will then be broken into smaller groups of similar levels on the ice. Private Lessons: A limited number of 20-minute private lessons will be available on a first come first served basis beginning at 3:30 pm. These private lessons must be booked in advance by emailing [email protected]. Payments for private lessons should be made directly to Paul Wylie at the rate of $40 per private lesson. Two people may share one semi-private lesson by paying $25 each for the 20 minute session.
