Steps to a Mock Bleach Retouch

Demonstrate disinfecting of work area Student must disinfect work area before

setting up area Organize work area Construct chemical drape Demonstrate sectioning the hair into four

uniform sections

Steps to a Bleach Retouch Mock Application

Demonstrate application of bleach retouch mock solution Model has half inch new growth Apply bleach to new growth only Start at the most resistant area Be careful not to overlap mock solution on to

previously bleached hair Continue working in a clockwise manner until all

the sections are completed

Demonstrate rinsing the hair with cool water when the degree of lightness is reached

Demonstrate shampooing with a mild shampoo

Explain how to prepare for toner Demonstrate cleaning up area Discard any left over product

Bleach Retouch Oral Presentation

After observing all sanitation and safety precautions, section the hair into four (4) uniform sections.

Starting at the most resistant area taking 1/8 inch subsections, apply bleach to new growth only, being careful not to overlap, working in a clockwise manner until all the sections are completed

Bleach Retouch Oral Presentation

When degree of lightness is reached, rinse the hair with cool water, shampoo with a mild shampoo and prepare for toner and clean up.
