• 2006 3rd IJSO 巴西– 香港首次派隊參加，並取得 3 面銅牌

• 2007 4th IJSO 台灣– 香港隊取得 1 銀 5 銅成績

• 2008 5th IJSO 南韓– 12 月 7 日至 16 日舉行– 香港隊取得 2 銀 3 銅成績

• 2009 6th IJSO 阿塞拜疆– 12 月 2 日至 11 日舉行

• 2010 7th IJSO 尼日利亞• 香港國際初中科學奧林匹克籌委會決定• 香港隊不會參加該屆賽事• 今年選拔賽的香港隊將參與 2011 8th IJSO• 培訓期延長至一年半

• 參賽資格– 每間學校可提名最多六名學生– 所有參賽學生必須於比賽時未滿十六歲，即於

1996 年 1 月 1 日或之後出生– 名單提交後不能更改– 截止報名日期： 2009 年 11 月 30 日

• 選拔賽– 2010 年 2 月 27 日星期六– 地點將於網站公佈– 1 小時 15 分鐘筆試，包括 30 題多項選擇題及

3 題結構式題目– 提供中文及英文試卷題目– 學生須以提名表格上選擇的語言作答– 所有題目主要根據香港中一至中四的科學科課

程、 IJSO 範圍及其他科學範疇製訂

• 選拔賽評分標準– 評改每隊學生的多項選擇題部份– 如得分高於籌委會訂立的標準，結構式題目部份才會被評改

– 結合兩部份最佳成績的約 80位學生將可參加第一階段培訓課程

• 一等奬：最佳成績 10% 學生•二等奬：次 20%學生•三等奬：再次 30%學生

– 團體奬項• 每間參賽學校隊伍可競逐冠、亞、季、殿團體奬項

• 培訓課程– 課程將於 2010 年 4 月至 2011 年 11 月舉行– 課程內容將以英文輔以廣東話進行– 課程共分三個階段共 235 小時

• 第一階段約 80 學生• 第二階段約 15 學生• 第三階段 6位學生

– 每階段完結後將設立選拔賽，最後選出 6 名學生代表香港參加 2011 年第八屆國際初中科學奧林匹克

Targets: Six S3 students receiving intensive training f

or the 6th IJSO (International Junior Science Olympiad) to be held in Azerbaijan from 2-11 December 2009;

They were screened from all secondary schools and only 50 students were accepted for the Phase 1 training;

18 out of the 50 Phase 1 students were selected for the Phase 2 training

• Apart from the academic training the phase 2 students would join an Affective Education Programme (6 sessions-12 hours)

• Finally 6 students would be selected for Phase 3 training and they are the delegates of HK Team

Aims:

- To enhance self-esteem and know one’s interest, strengths and weakness;

- To enhance students’ communication and collaborative skills;

- To explore individual’s value and career path
