ChrisLopezbeginshisfirstseasonontheMapleLeafscoachingstaffin2009.CoachLo-pez has nearly 20 years of playing and coaching fast-pitch softball in a variety of roles.

Since the early 1980’s, Lopez has been actively involved in coaching with the Plymouth and Middlebury Little League programs. During that time, Lopez has also done private instruction focusing primarily on hitting skills and techniques. He has served on coach-ing staffs at nearly every youth level, including high school while also serving as an ASA umpire for the past 12 years.

Lopez is also the co-founder of 14U and 16U travel teams out of Plymouth, which were designed to give players from Plymouth an opportunity to step their games up to a higher level and compete regionally.

Married to his wife, Karen, for the past 20 years, the couple has two daughters, Jessica and Samantha, and reside in Middlebury.

A long-time softball player, Maes has become involved in coaches clinics over the past few yearsaswellasbecomingcertifiedforhighschoolvolleyball.

Her personal goals include, “Working with athletes and encouraging personal development in all facets of life.”

Dawn and husband Mark have two children, Brock (13) and Brooke (12) who are both ac-tive in Little League and travel teams. The President and Owner of Corporate Advertising & Apparel, Inc., Dawn and her family reside in Goshen.
