BIBLE UNBoUND One of Shoreline’s longest-running studies, this group goes through an entire book of the Bible, one chapter per week, in a casual, open-discussion atmosphere. It’s led by a guy with an amazing British accent to make the reading of the scriptures feel a little more proper. Don’t be intimidated, though; he puts his pants on the same way you do, one leg at a time. The only difference is, once his pants are on, he leads a great Bible study.

cRAzY LovE This in-depth Bible study is based on the popular book of the same name by Francis Chan. Short video teachings correspond with the book chapters, which is followed by group discussion time. Set in a casual, relaxed environment (most likely with snacks; how can there not be snacks?), this group is a great opportunity to take the next step in your relationship with God.

FIRST ThINGS FIRST The Bible has a lot to say about relationships and what’s really important. A Christ-centered relationship is foundational to fully understand the depth and potential of God’s true purpose for companionship. Relationships at any stage — single, dating, or married — are welcome!

KAY ARThUR GRoUP All ladies are welcome at this casual, relaxed Thursday night Bible study. We pick a book, read a chapter each week, and meet to discuss what we’ve read. This spring, we’ll be choosing one of Kay Arthur’s teachings as our focus. If you’ve never read or studied Kay Arthur, this is a great next step in your spiritual growth. No childcare available at this group.

STARTING PoINT When you join a gym, you get a training session so you know what to do. This is kind of like that, except you don’t have to wipe down the seat when you leave. We’ll explain what it means to be a Christ-follower and go through the basics of our faith. Got questions? Bring them here.

UNDER ARmoR Men don’t sit around and talk about stuff, hashing out every life detail and how they feel about it. But waiting until it’s crunch-time to have some accountability and a support system isn’t exactly a plan. Here, we create a safe, focused environment to train men on how to stand strong. After all, it’s not what’s on the outside that counts; it’s what’s underneath.

RED SAILS AND SUNSETS Take a break from life and explore the ocean on a sailing yacht! We’ll leave from the Destin Harbor and voyage to the Gulf of Mexico to watch the dolphins play and get some fresh catch for the evening. SUPPER oN SATURDAY We love this group because it combines Shoreliners and others from the local faith community to literally put food in the hands of families who live and work right here with us. Some S.O.S. volunteers are people who have been helped by this group when they’ve hit a rough patch. Is there a more rewarding way to spend the first Saturday of the month? We don’t think so.

DINNER oN US Delivering a meal to people managing a new baby, illness, or death in the family is an easy way to love others. Anyone who has ever wandered into the kitchen, exhausted, to find it filled with food from friends, knows how impacting this is. You can make a home-cooked meal, or order and deliver takeout. Either way, you’re caring for someone else and that’s what counts.
