PRAYERCONNECT Connect with missionaries and chaplains by praying for them and their work. Dr. Philip J. Nieto 114 Blackheath Dr., New Bern, NC Philip serves as chaplain for the U.S. Navy Reserve, and has been sending out resumes for pastoral positions because he is part of the downsizing of the Navy Chaplain Corps. He has been out of active duty for six months, and has become a reservist to provide health insurance for his family. With a lack of full-time employment or a pastoral position, he has accepted orders to deploy without his family again for 8–12 months in order to have an income. Please pray for the Lord to place him in a full-time pastoral position when he returns. Robin Reeves 64 Speed Dr., Corbin, KY 40701 Robin is an MSC-funded missionary directing “Christians by Choice, Clown and Creative Ministries". Weekly, she leads a team of ladies at church in a sewing/quilting ministry. She had surgery to remove a lipoma tumor (non-cancerous) located across the main artery/collar bone on her left side, which is her dominant hand. She is praying for a quick recovery as the clowning ministry has events scheduled for October. Al Vacek 1417 Purple Sage Dr., Gardnerville, NV Al serves as church planter pastor in Nevada.
