Just a few reminders Ø Marshalling will take place behind the blocks for all ages other than 8+unders. Please report behind
the blocks 2-3 heats before you are scheduled to swim. We will not hold races for missing swimmers; so swimmers will need to pay close attention. The white board in the gym will denote the race that is currently marshalling. Please alert swimmers to be aware of their races and watch the board.
Ø We will marshal 8+under swimmers in the roped off area outside of the gym next to the entrance labelled “8&Under Entrance Only”. 25-meter races will be marshalled in the chairs beside the bulkhead. For races longer than 25 meters, 8+Under swimmers are to gather in the roped off area and will be escorted by heat to the starting area behind the blocks.
Ø Our facility is new and we want to keep it in good condition as long as possible. Therefore, we ask that nothing other than water is brought or consumed in the bleachers.
Ø We also ask that coolers and other bulky items be stored in the in the swimmers’ rest area in the gym. This allows for more families to view their events.
Ø We have set up a number of tables on one side of the gym for dining. We ask that you please be considerate of others and use the tables only for dining and not take over a table for the duration of the meet.
Ø ISB is an alcohol and tobacco free campus.
Ø The stairway to the upper level should be free of congestion, please refrain from watching races from the side of the stairway as it forces stair traffic to the narrowest part of the step and may result in an accident.
Ø Please remember that families and coaches would like to watch the races – standing on deck taking photos is intrusive. If you must take photos, please respect other people and crouch or stand out of the way.
