Arrowood Lisa is a founding partner of Arrowood Peters LLP. Her practice encompasses business litigation, employment disputes, medical malpractice, personal injury and legal malpractice. She is a Life Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, as well as a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, the Boston Bar Foundation, and the Massachusetts Bar Foundation. Lisa previously held a three year appointment as First Circuit Representative to the ABA Standing Committee on the Federal Judiciary and was a member of the Board of Bar Overseers from 2009-2015. Prior to joining Conn Kavanaugh, Carol was Chief of the Economic Crimes Division of the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office, where her work concentrated in the areas of white-collar crime and public corruption. She has served as the BBA’s Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, a member of the Council and the Executive Committee, the Co-Chair of the Diversity & Inclusion Group Mentoring Program, and the Co-Chair of the BBA’s Criminal Law Section Steering Committee. Margaret (Peggy) A. Brown | Elected to Three-Year Term

Peggy is head of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP’s Boston office and is the leader of the Boston-based Mergers and Acquisitions Group. She works on a wide variety of corporate and securities matters, including mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions. Peggy also counsels clients on a broad range of business-related matters, including directors’ duties and responsibilities and other aspects of corporate governance, disclosure issues, corporate compliance matters and internal investigations. She is the Chair of the Board of Governors at Tufts Medical Center, a Member of the Board at Tufts Medical Center Trust, and served on the Massachusetts Judicial Nominating Commission from 2005-2007. In January 2015, Peggy Co-Chaired the Boston Bar Foundation’s John & Abigail Adams Benefit Steering Committee. Peggy is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and Boston College Law School.

Russell Beck | Appointed to Three-Year Term

Russ is a founding partner at Beck Reed & Riden LLP, where he has a national trade secrets and noncompete practice, handles complex business and intellectual property disputes, and serves as a mediator. Russ teaches Trade Secrets and Restrictive Covenants at Boston University School of Law and is a member of the Boston Bar Foundation Board of Trustees and the BBF Fellows Committee. This year, he Co-Chaired the BBF John & Abigail Adams Benefit Steering Committee and served as a member of the Annual Meeting Steering Committee. Russ has also served as the Co-Chair of the Intellectual Property Law Section and as a member of the BBF Communications & Fundraising Committee. Russ is a graduate of Tufts University and Boston University School of Law.

June Duchesne | Elected to Three-Year Term

June is Senior Vice President and Deputy Assistant General Counsel of EMC Corporation. EMC is a global leader in enabling businesses and service providers to transform their operations and deliver IT as a service. At EMC, June works on a wide variety of corporate and securities matters. She leads a team responsible for providing legal support on M&A, securities, corporate governance, executive compensation, real estate, and other general corporate matters and also works with key committees of the Board of Directors. Prior to joining EMC, June was an associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in Boston. At the BBA, June is currently completing her two-year term as Co-Chair of the Diversity & Inclusion Section. She has served on the Beacon Award Nominating Committee, the Boston Bar Foundation John & Abigail Adams Benefit Steering Committee, the Law Day Steering Committee, and the Mentoring Committee. June is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and Columbia Law School.

Jennifer Sevigney Durand | Elected to Three-Year Term

Jennifer is an associate at Schmidt & Federico, P.C., where she focuses her practice in all areas of domestic relations and family law. Jennifer is also a trained Conciliator and a mentor for the Women’s Bar Foundation’s Family Law Project. Prior to joining Schmidt & Federico, Jennifer clerked for two years for the justices of the Massachusetts Probate & Family Court. She is a co-author of Divorce Law Practice Manual, Chapter 13 Marital Agreements, MCLE, 2nd Edition, 2008. At the BBA, Jennifer is a member of the Public Service Oversight Committee, a past Co-Chair of the Family Law Section, a past Co-Chair of the Family Law Section Education Committee, and a member of the 2014 Annual Meeting Steering Committee. She is a member of the Greater Boston Family Law American Inn of Court and a former member of the Board of Directors (and Past President) of the Massachusetts Chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. Mark Fleming | Elected to Three-Year Term

Mark is a partner at WilmerHale, where he practices appellate litigation and other complex litigation matters. Mark has argued cases before the Supreme Court of the United States; the US Courts of Appeals for the First, Third, Eighth, Ninth, District of Columbia, and Federal Circuits; and the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court and Appeals Court. Mark’s prior experience includes clerkships with the Honorable David H. Souter of the Supreme Court of the United States, the Honorable Michael Boudin of the US Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and the Honorable John C. Major of the Supreme Court of Canada. He also served as an associate legal officer in the Appeals Chamber of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia. At the BBA, Mark is Chair of the Amicus Committee, and he has served as Co-Chair of the International Law Section, and as a member of the Annual Meeting Steering Committee and the International Dispute Resolution Committee. Mark is a graduate of the University of King’s College/Dalhousie University and Harvard Law School.

Michael C. Fee | Appointed to Three-Year Term

Mike is a shareholder at Pierce & Mandell, P.C. where his practice focuses on transactions and litigation in the fields of real estate and development, health care, non-profit organizations, and probate and fiduciary matters. At present, he is the outgoing Co-Chair of the BBA’s Real Estate Section, a member of the Law Day Steering Committee, and the Land Court’s Working Group on Cost Effective Litigation. Michael also currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Parmenter Community Health Care Center, Inc., a community based, home health care and hospice service provider, as well as the Parmenter Foundation. He previously chaired Sudbury’s Planning Board for nearly a decade, and has recently been elected Sudbury Town Moderator. Michael is a graduate of Harvard College and Boston College Law School.

Vincent Rougeau | Elected to Three-Year Term

Dean Rougeau is the dean of Boston College Law School, where he has led a reorganization in leadership structure that supports a more holistic approach to student services, expanded the school’s national and international recruitment of a diverse student body, and enhanced the school’s commitment to experiential learning and global engagement. The School recently opened its Center for Experiential Learning, the Rappaport Center for Law and Public Policy, and launched a Global Practice Program. Dean Rougeau is active in discussions on legal education at the American Bar Association and the American Association of Law Schools. His teaching interests are in contract and real estate law, as well as in law and religion. Before entering the academy, he practiced law at the Washington, DC office of Morrison & Foerster LLP. Dean Rougeau is a graduate of Brown University and Harvard Law School.

Sarah Kim | Elected to Three-Year Term

Sarah is General Counsel at the Treasurer and Receiver General of Massachusetts, where she works on legal matters pertaining to the Massachusetts Treasury, including its subsidiary agencies and affiliated programs. Previously, Sarah served as the Assistant Attorney General in the Fraud & Financial Crimes Division at the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office. Before entering public service, Sarah worked for ten years at Bingham McCutchen LLP, where she focused her practice on securities enforcement, securities litigation, and broker-dealer defense. At the BBA, Sarah is Co-Chair of the Securities Enforcement & Litigation Committee and a member of the Boston Bar Journal Board of Editors, the Diversity & Inclusion Section, and the Pipeline and Recruitment Committee. She has also served as a member of the Beacon Award Nominating Committee and the Summer Jobs Steering Committee. Additionally, Sarah is a past president of the Asian American Lawyers Association of Massachusetts. Sarah is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Villanova University School of Law.

Megan Gates | Elected to Three-Year Term

Megan is a member at Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., where she is Co-Chair of the firm’s Securities and Capital Markets Practice Group. She represents biotechnology and high technology companies in public securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, reporting to the Securities and Exchange Commission, and general corporate matters. Before joining Mintz Levin in 2000, she was Associate General Counsel at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where she handled securities reporting and compliance. At the BBA, she has served as Co-Chair of the Business Transactions Section and Co-Chair of the Securities Law Committee. She is also a Boston Bar Foundation Fellow. She is a board member of the Pine Street Inn and recently completed a five year term, including serving as Chair of Casa Myrna, a nonprofit focused on ending domestic violence. Megan is a graduate of Wellesley College and Boston College Law School.
