What did the fireservice actuallydo?
The fire service attended the scenes of theaccidents and helped rescue people alongsidepolice officers and members of the public.
What preventativemeasures did thefire service haveprepared for sucha situation?
This sort of accident, the fire service could never beprepared for because its such an unlikely and freakoccurrence but I think the fire service managed todo well in saving peoples lives, there was already alot of people dead before the fire service could evenget to the scene because a bomb hitting you is aninstant fatality most of the time.
