Mission Statement: Ida Diaz Early College Jr. High is a professional learning community that works collaboratively to promote learning for all students and staff and holds all its members accountable for results. We are committed to providing 21st century teaching experiences that will ensure the foundation of literacy and prepare our students for Hidalgo Early College High School and beyond. We believe that every child has the right to experience success each day and are committed to nurturing and developing life long learners in a safe and stimulating environment.

Vision Statement: The professional learning community at Ida Diaz Early College Jr. High envisions campuses where students are self directed, exposed to 21st century teaching strategies, and are motivated to pursue a post-graduate education. We are committed to challenging and supporting our students through rigor, relevance, and relationship. Our school will promote academic, extra-curricular, and personal excellence for each student to provide a solid foundation for success at Hidalgo Early College High School, in our community, and beyond. Our students will have exposure to multiple career pathways and expanded use of technology to engage students for educational and career opportunities in globally competitive 21st century.

Mission Statement: Hidalgo Academy is committed to providing our students with a quality, flexible, and rigorous alternative educational program, which incorporates cognitive and affective strategies aimed at preparing our students to successfully meet the challenges in a world of constantly changing trends and technologies.

HIDALGO  ELEMENTARY  

Mission Statement: Hidalgo Elementary is a community of professional learners whose mission is to create a nurturing atmosphere, in which every student will realize his or her full potential, develop a positive self-concept, serve others with dedication and become a life-long learner who is able to use technology effectively and appreciate the multi-cultural society in which we live. We are committed to becoming an Exemplary Dual Language College Bound Elementary School in which all students perform academically on or above grade level.

Vision Statement: Hidalgo Elementary is committed to becoming an Exemplary Dual Language school with high expectations for all students by providing a superior education that ensures a positive learning experience and foundation as elements for academic success.

Mission Statement: Hidalgo Park Elementary School Staff facilitates a learning path to college readiness through a well planned, culturally rich curriculum that fosters each child’s needs. We will provide opportunities for our students to think critically, logically, independently and creatively. Our campus will provide a comprehensive system of support that will ensure success for all students.

DR.  ALEJO  SALINAS  JR.  ELEMENTARY  

Mission Statement: The Mission of Dr. Alejo Salinas, Jr. Elementary School is to help each child realize and cultivate his or her greatest potential, and to provide an exemplary curriculum that will foster the skills, knowledge and attitudes necessary to live a healthy, fulfilling and successful life.

Vision Statement: Dr. Alejo Salinas, Jr. Elementary School will educate high achieving and critical thinking students through quality instructional programs in a bi-literate and supportive environment.
