Almal het beserings opgedoen, maar met druktyd was een seuntjie steeds in die Nelspruit Mediclinic vir behandeling. Die meeste vertrekke van die huis het onherstelbaar verkool. Trust put back into Limpopoive Limpopo departments placed under administration three years ago, have been returned to the provincial administration, Finance Minister Nhlanhla Nene said on F

Monday. This means that the MECs of the affected provincial departments

wi l l a s sume fu l l executive powers to run the departments and the accounting officer role will revert back to HODs of the r e s p e c t i v e departments, said Nene. He said premier Stan Mathabatha and his e x e c u t i v e w o u l d resume full

responsibility over administration. The departments were placed under administration in 2011 by cabinet, because of financial management problems and a high level of maladministration. These included service providers being paid twice a week, which led to cash-flow problems. He said the financial position regarding cash, solvency, and budget had been stabilised. A new cash management process has been put in place in conjunction with the province's new banker, he said. The provincial treasury now retains even greater control over movements or transfers of funds than before. These controls are among the most stringent of any province. Addressing a media briefing, Nene said cabinet had approved the transition. Section 100 (1)(b) intervention in Limpopo had achieved its objective, which was the successful turnaround of financial management and governance in the province, he said.Source: internet

The criteria was how you represent yourself in front of people and we had to go for interviews to see if we could handle the pressure of being out there and to help others. We had to give a speech about what inspired us about our lives and SA. I spoke about late President Nelson Mandela and how he changed our world.2. How long have you lived in Lydenburg? Grondeise is weer in die nuus, so ook Boomplaats A few kilometres outside Lydenburg in Mpumalanga lies the farm Boomplaats - 2 297 hectares of fertile agricultural land. The unique rock art on the farm shows Stone Age dwellers were the first to settle here thousands of years ago. The mild climate, rich soil, streams and fountains make it possible to farm cattle, maize and fruit - in fact, people say anything would grow here. But despite the tranquility of the land, those who`ve made Boomplaats their home have had their share of hardship over the past 40 years - and the end is not yet in sight. As a young boy, 77-year-old Lucas Sihlangu moved to Boomplaats, while Phineas Moletsi and David Mohlala were born there more than 64 years ago. Today they all live in Lydenburg`s township, Mashishing - but they still remember the day, 40 years ago in 1961, when their tribe, the Dinkwanyanes, were forcefully removed from Boomplaats, despite their title deed to the land. In the last few years they`ve successfully launched a claim for restitution of their land. Willem Pretorius bought his part from the state in 1982. Most of the former residents at Boomplaats were taken to Lebowa in the 1920s and 1930s and others were removed in terms of the Group Areas Act in 1961.

HaatspraakDAAR word deesdae n groot hoe ha gemaak oor haatspraak. En dit is reg so. Die gebruik van die K-woord word bv. deur sekere groeperings as haatspraak beskou.Maar dit gaan veel verder. Wanneer n mens na veral die euwel van sosiale media kyk, is dit opmerklik. Ja ek is ook op sosiale media, maar ek beskou dit as n euwel. Dit steel mens se tyd en laat jou toe om baie meer te

skinder. Die verskil met mens-tot-mens skinder is egter dat jou twiets, facebook kommentaar ens. op rekord is vir die hele wreld om te sien. Jy kan nie in n hof ontken dat jy sus of so ges het nie. Kyk maar hoe word Oscar en Reeva se geheime uitgeblaker.Hoe definieer mens haatspraak? Dit is baie maklik. As jou mond oopgaan en jy maak n kwetsende of neerhalende opmerking oor iemand, tas jy sy menswaardigheid, sy reputasie en sy eer aan. Dit is nie mooi nie. Dit is tegnies haatspraak. Politiek en baie gelowe is dikwels deurspek met haatspraak. Ek skat dat per hierdie definisie meeste van die OUTOPPIE se opmerkings

as haatspraak gesien kan word . Die verskil is ek maak dit nie persoonlik nie. Ek noem nie name nie. Mens kan ook redeneer dat as jy n idioot n idioot noem, dit nie haatspraak is nie, maar dat jy slegs n feit konstateer.Daar is baie van ons wat egter op sosiale media uitvaar teen een of ander persoon of entiteit. Dit is lelik. Dit s meer van die outeur daarvan as van die persoon of besigheid wat beledig word.So, julle weet ek is nie polities korrek nie en noem n spade n flippen graaf! Maar ek trek die streep by iemand vloek of in die openbaar sleg praat van iemand. Ons is tog beskaaf. Ons is ordentlik. As belydene Christene is ons verdraagsaam. Ons is mooi grootgemaak. So basta met die haatspraak!

Op Dinsdag, 22 Julie, het Babbelkousies Kleuterskool op uitnodiging die Laramie Spur in Lydenburg besoek. Graag bedank ons die bestuurder en sy span vir hul gasvryheid en

vriendelikheid, dit word opreg waardeer. Ons kinders het dit baie geniet en ook geleer hoe die bedrywighede agter die skerms werk. Babbelkousies Kleuterskool bedank ook graag die

volgende persone wat hulle met vervoer gehelp het: Charlene Coetzee, Sindy Nagel, Melaney van Heerden, Karin Stander en Gail Smith.

Leoni Bouwer van Lydenburg skryf: Graag wil ek weet of julle 'n berig in die koerant kan sit, rondom die proses wat gevolg moet word indien mens 'n solar geyser installeer.Daar is papierwerk wat ingevul moet word na die installasie, dan betaal Eskom 'n sekere bedrag terug aan die nuwe eienaar.Die rede vir my versoek is dat ons 'n Solar Geyser ge-installeer het, Al die werk is deur loodgieters en hardeware plekke in Lydenburg gedoen. Dis al amper 'n jaar nadat die geyser ge-installeer is en ons wag nog steeds vir ons "re-bate". Mense doen ons 'n guns deur ons te help met die papierwerk. Ander ignoreer ons oproepe heeltemal.Ek wil dit net onder baie mense se aandag bring dat daar 'n eis teen Eskom ingesit kan word indien 'n Solar Geyser ge-installeer word, en wat die proses is, Dalk is daar ander mense in Lydenburg wat ook sukkel, soos ons.

Help dorp se diereIna Dare van Lydenburg skryf:Ek wil graag die Kerke in ons dorp uitdaag om by LAPSAR betrokke te raak. Ons Methodiste Omgee Groep bestaan uit net ses dames. Elke maand vir al baie jare skenk ons 6 x 8kg sakke honde kos, Jik (bleikmiddel) om die hokke mee skoon te maak, en katkos as hulle dit nodig het. As hulle komberse nodig het dan koop ons komberse. Ons het al jare gelede die plastiek kos en water bakke vervang met staal bakke, want die honde byt die plastiek bakke stukkend uit frustrasie en eensaamheid. Die mense wat daar werk gee regtig om vir die diere, maar dit bly 'n ondankbare werk. Daar is te veel mense wat hulle diere nie goed versorg nie, honde en katte word oor die muur by LAPSAR gegooi, en party is dragtig. Katte met kleintjies word sommer in die veld langs LAPSAR gelos. Mense as julle nie diere kan

bekostig nie, en vir hulle die liefde en versorging gee wat hulle moet kry, dan moet julle nie diere aanhou nie! Daar is 'n groot problem met mense wat hulle diere mishandel. As mense 'n onskuldige dier kan seermaak dan wil ek nie weet waartoe is hulle als in staat nie! Mense los hulle hekke oop en honde loop orals in die strate rond. As jy 'n hond het, hou dit in die erf waar dit veilig sal wees. LAPSAR het hulp nodig, dink net as ons Kerke saamstaan wat se verskil kan ons maak? If you turn God's name around, what do you get? DOG! In Genesis we read that we will be held accountable for the beasts on the earth. Let's join hands and help protect the animals that others simply throw away like so much rubbish. THE Mashishing Centre provides meals to more than 130 children every single day and they send some children home with food for the weekend. The Sun Rider Motor Cycling Club recently donated school uniforms and shoes to the centre. They are regularly without enough food for the next day. But they never give up and will always have something for the children to eat. Please remember this Centre. They work on the sidelines and dont get the same donations that a lot of other charities in town get. Thank you to Sun Rider Motor Cycling Club that donate regularly and thanks to other business. KIA decided to refresh the design of Kia Sportage 2015 model. The new model has a more modern and aggressive look. One of the novelties is a new set of alloy wheels. Changes to the front of the car are minimal. The main change is the new grille, which features a new honeycomb shape. The new grille is called tiger-nose. At the rear there is a new design lighting group. The rear lights are offered in two versions, classic and LED.The cars interior is enriched with new, higher quality materials in the center console. It has expanded the color palette of the interior with new leather and Alcantara material. On the control panel is a new 4.2 color display located between the tachometer and speedometer. The large display of multimedia is very intuitively designed with new graphics. The screen is touch-sensitive. In addition to the steering wheel are controls for locking differential for the version with all-wheel drive. 2015 Sportage has received a Flex Steering system, to adjust the servo unit on three levels: Comfort, Normal and Sport. Some of the innovative new systems are: a heated steering wheel, Infinity premium audio system with USB and iPod connector, power adjustable drivers seat. The standard equipment of the new Sportage, includes Trailer Stability Control and RollOver sensor. The company claims that it improved stability during sudden braking. BMW South Africa has confirmed about 47 000 3 Series sold here could be affected by the car makers latest recall.BMW announced 1.6million 3 Series produced between May 1999 to August 2006 (E46) are affected worldwide.Essentially an extension of a 2013 recall campaign for possibly faulty airbag gas generators, in which 240 000 cars were affected. BMW will replace the passenger airbags in affected vehicles in the precautionary campaign.According to BMW, no cases involving its cars have been reported.Affected owners will be contacted directly by BMW SA, the company has said. Dit kom sonder n asbakkie en aansteker, so ons rokers moet dit spesifiseer.So, hoe was die Qashqai op die pad? Ek het nie veel verwag van n 1.2 liter enjin in so n groot voertuig nie (85kW en 190Nm). Onthou my vorige toets was met n 2.0 turbodiesel. Wel, ek was verstom. Die voertuig trek baie goed en is n plesier op die oop pad. Jy weet nie dit is n 1.2 nie. Brandstofverbruik sal uitstekend wees, aangesien die enjin net 2 500 opm draai teen 120 km/u. (3 000 @ 140 en 3 500 @ 160).Die Qashqai is stabiel teen baie ho snelheid, dit is rotsvas op die pad en remme is uitstekend. Ratskakeling is van die beste wat ek nog getoets het.Die veerstelsel is doodstil en het geen probleme met ongelyk paaie nie.Ek het regtig fout gesoek en behalwe vir die gebrek aan n aansteker en asbak, was daar niks. netball histroy. The two girls were part of the talented players selected for the Mpumalanga team. The games took place in Durban during the June holidays. The girls have made the school proud by working hard and maintaining a positive attitude. Much gratitude goes to their school coaches who worked tirelessly to train them and to accompany them for their weekly provincial training. The

fundraising committee of the school work very hard and had a lot of innovative ideas towards raising funds towards this cause, thank you. The school would like to express great appreciation to all individuals and organisations who donated towards their trip to Durban. You made a dream come true.
