English Language Arts

We are beginning a new and final unit, “Because of Winn-Dixie.”

Academic Vocabulary: Because Fortunate Manager Dialogue Friendship Preacher Employee Hollered Sold

Math We will continue to learn about polygons and their attributes.

Social Studies We are learning aspects of citizenship such as rights, responsibilities, and how a citizen can help solve a local issue. The Unit 4 test covering LA government and Citizenship is Thursday.

Science We are focusing on how traits can be influenced by the environment and will be discussing extinction. The Unit 4 test that covers inheritance and variations of traits is on Friday.
