WATER SUPPLY The water source of Eren Weir and HEPP project is Soanl ay, which is located in the Western Black Sea Basin No. 13. Water, located 2360m down in earth, goes through several stages to form Krolu ay river. Being the main current, Krolu ay combines with Markua ay, which flows up from the cauldrons on the right coast, to form Gerede ay. Then, Gerede ay combines with erke ay, which flows up from the cauldrons approximately 1000m deep on the right coast of smetpaa, and continues flowing in the northeastern direction. After that, Gerede ay joins Kkrt ay , which originates in the cauldrons 800m deep on the right coast of Yazren Mevki, and forms Melan ay river. Melan ay joins rivers Boyal and Kavak ay in the neighborhood to the right coast of Boyal to form Akay and flows in the northwestern direction.Akay joins Kaltuk ay, which flows from the left coast of Eren Weir, to form Soanl ay river. Soanl ay combines with Eskipazar ay from the left coast in the cauldrons 200 m deep and Ara ay from the right coast of Karabk Merkez to form Filyos ay river.
