I DC (Amp.) = (Load X 1000 X Power factor) /(efficiency X Total Cell Voltage x No. of battery) = (6 X 1000 X 0.9) / (.93 X 10.5 X 20) = 27.64Amp. b. For Ampere-Hour Calculation for your reference: - Above mentioned discharge current in point i.e. 27.64Amp, now as we require 30min. back up then from graph we recommend 12V/26AH battery which can give around 30 min battery backup. So we suggest to use 12 Volt 26Ah, SMF Grade Batteries for around 30min. backup for 6 kVA UPS.
