Company profile Activity of the VUVL company Inc. is focused on the production of precision machinery parts using technology of chip machining including finishing grinding technology. These include parts for following machinery units - parts and components of machine tools, drives and motors, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, pumps, turbines, couplings, engines, etc. We can provide installation of mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. Most of the parts are manufactured as repeated unit production or small batch production. We work with both conventional as well as with some special materials - steel alloys, aluminum and duraluminum alloys, copper alloys, stainless steel alloys, various plastics, etc. Due to cooperation we provide all forms of heat treatment and surface treatment such as annealing, quenching, tempering, refining, carburizing, nitriding, phosphating, surface hardening, plating, nickel plating, zinc plating, blackening, anodizing, etc. The company has a wide range of machinery and technological equipment for CNC, NC and conventional machining - turning, milling, 3D cutting - 5-axis milling machines, drilling, grinding, production of gear wheels, grooving, production of threads, production of screws, etc. The production is supported by computer and software - CAD / CAM systems (SolidWorks, SolidCAM, etc.) Metrology department has - classic gauges, digital altimeters, 3D measurement of Dea Global, hardness testers, roughness testers, precise length scales, measuring angles and positions. Measurements are performed, including logs. Company employs about 95 employees with experience in the field of machining, not just in manufacturing professions, but also engineers, technologists, programmers NC and CNC. Production area is about 3000 square meters containing basic facilities - warehouse, manufacturing, assembly, inspection and dispatch. VUVL Company Inc. is since 1998 holder of the certificate and certification of quality management system ISO 9001:2009. VUVL Inc. is also certified by their customers. We guarantee the quality of the work and expertise.

History

Formation

VUVL Company Inc. was established in 1953, when was founded Research Institute for rolling bearings in Brno.

Since that time passed mentioned institute for nearly 60 years several reorganizations, was incorporated into different organizational units.

From 1968 to 1988 was member of the group bearing manufacturers ZVL based in Považská Bystrica as ZVL Research Institute for rolling bearings, k.ú.o. research and development center in the development of bearings, bearing technology, materials, testing of bearings and equipment for the manufacture of bearings. In 1988, the delimitation of the group ZVL and the company got status of state enterprise ZKL VUVL.

Privatization

In 1992 the property was privatized and the company became a public limited company. The last change was in 2002 when the company was renamed as VUVL a.s. and became a family company.

New production facilities

In 2010 the company moved into new premises complex TOS-Kuřim on Blanenská str. 257. There are currently concentrated complete manufacturing and administrative facilities of the company.
