Adverbs of Frequency คือ กริยาวิเศษแสดงความถี่ โดยเราจะน า Adverbs of Frequency มาช่วยในการบ่งบอกถึงความบ่อยหรือความถี่ (how often) ของเหตุการณ์ต่างๆ ซึ่งค าเหล่านี้นั้นมีอยู่มากมาย ค าแสดงความถี่ หรือความบ่อยที่ควรทราบ ได้แก่ค าต่อไปนี้ always, usually, often, sometimes, rarely, never ซึ่งค าแสดงความถี่นี้จะแสดงความถี่ของการกระท าต่างกันตามล าดับจากมากสุดไปหาน้อยสุด ดังนี้

ต าแหน่งของ Adverbs of Frequency วางหน้ากริยาแท้ของประโยค แต่ถ้ากริยาของประโยคเป็น verb to be ให้วางหลัง verb to be เช่น

Present Simple Tense

Present Simple Tense หมายถึง “ปัจจุบันกาล” มีโครงสร้างและหลักการใช้ ดังนี ้

โครงสร้าง >> ประธานเอกพจน์ + กริยาช่องที่ 1 เติม s หรือ es ประธานเอกพจน์ + กริยาช่องที่ 1

Present Simple Tense ใช้กับเหตุการณ์ ดังนี

1. ใช้กับเหตุการณ์หรือการกระท าที่เป็นความจริงตลอดไปหรือความจริงตามธรรมชาติ เช่น The sun rises in the east. Fire is hot. 2. ใช้กับการกระท าที่ท าจนเป็นนิสัย มักจะมีกลุ่มค าที่มีความหมายว่า เสมอๆ บ่อยๆ ทุกๆ อยู่ด้วย เช่น I get up at six o’clock every day.
