Main activities

The main activities of Innovative Community Centres Association are facilitation of the organizational, informational and technological development of the community centres and enhancing the opportunity for vocational education of citizens.

• Creation of environment for good communication, interaction and mutual aid between community centres

• Improving qualification of community centres staff

• Organizing of work meetings and seminars

• Exchange of good practices

• Implementation of joint initiatives with community centres

• Establishment of Centre for Vocational Training with a network of training units and conducting trainings of citizens

• Operating of network of IT Card test centres

Vocational trainings

In medium and small settlements in Bulgaria access to vocational training is very limited. To overcome this limitation, Innovative Community Centres Association creates Centre for Vocational Training with a network of training units in different locations. They operate in numerous partnerships with community centres, local authorities, businesses and NGOs

The license currently allows organization of training in 35 specialties in 22 vocations.

Key qualification trainings

Since 2009, the Innovative Community Centres Association, together with its members, offers key qualification trainings in accordance with the European Referent Framework. Currently, the most sought-after trainings are:

• Key competence 2 – Communication in foreign language

• Key competence 4 – Digital competence• Key competence 7 - Sense of initiative
