    ABSTRAK

    Hubungan Persepsi Terhadap Kompetensi Guru Fisika Dengan

    Motivasi Belajar Siswa Kelas VII di SMP Al-Basthi Plakpak

    Pamekasan

    Mafluhatul Jannah

    Penyesuaian diri diperlukan oleh siswa yang sedang beradaptasi ketika

    dikelas VII. Permasalahan yang muncul saat penyesuaian siswa kelas VII adalah

    kesulitan belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi terhadap

    kompetensi guru fisika dengan motivasi belajar.Jenis penelitian analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi siswa

    SMP kelas VII, sampel 65 siswa. Cara pengambilan sampel menggunakan tekhnik

    simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis

    data yang terkumpul menggunakan Chi-Square.Hasil penelitian persepsi terhadap kompetensi guru fisika sebanyak 40

    (61.5%) siswa dengan persepsi positif. Dan motivasi belajar siswa sebanyak 49

    (75.4%) dengan motivasi tinggi. Hasil Chi-SquaremenunjukkanP = 0.031.P <

    (0.05), maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Artinya ada hubungan positif antara

    persepsi terhadap kompetensi guru fisika dengan motivasi belajar siswa.

    Diharapkan pihak sekolah untuk berinteraksi dan melakukan pendekatan

    pada siswa dengan baik.

    ABSTRACT

    Perception Relationship With Physics Teacher Competency

    Student Motivation Class VII in SMP Al - Basthi Plakpak

    Pamekasan

    Adjustment required by students who are adaptable when in class VII . The

    problems that arise when students of class VII adjustment is learning difficulties .

    The purpose of this study was to determine the perceptions of physics teacher

    competence and motivation to learn .

    Type of analytical research with cross sectional approach . Junior class

    VII student population , sample 65 students . How to sample using simple random

    sampling technique . Collecting data using a questionnaire . Analysis of data

    collected using the Chi - Square .The results of the study of physics teachers' perceptions of competence as

    many as 40 ( 61.5 % ) of students with positive perceptions . And motivation to

    study as much as 49 ( 75.4 % ) with high motivation . Results of Chi - Square

    showed P = 0.031 . P < ( 0:05 ) , then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted . This

    means that there is a positive relationship between perceptions of competence

    physics teacher with student motivation .

    It is expected the school to interact and approach the students well .
