We are delighted to once again be able to offer you a wide range of talented performers and quality events, from comedy nights to classic family movies. In the world of theatre, ACE regulars, The Garrick, have FOUR exciting and very different productions on offer. Our Variety Shows continue to be a big hit with our audiences, with Full House signs going up for every event. And this year we add two very special one-off events, with Justin Moorhouse and Jimmy Cricket!And dont forget, theres a lot more going on at The Ace Centre. We offer a variety of function rooms for hire for Childrens Parties, Wedding Receptions, Business Meetings,

    The Courtyard Bistro combines friendly sta, a relaxed atmosphereand a delicious menu to create a delightful dining experience

    The diverse menu oers something for everyone. Dishes include hearty options such as honey roast baked ham, two free range eggs & chunky chips, as well as the eye-catching 8oz cheeseburger, onion

    rings, salsa & garlic mayo, plus light bites, ranging from paninis to salads.

    There's also a tempting selection of homemade cakes, the perfectaccompaniment to a cup of freshly ground coee.

    Its the first Friday of the month and time to gear up for another great evening of stand-up comedy at The ACE Centres regular Comedy Night, featuring three great comedians and an MC.

  • ARTS ON PRESCRIPTIONArts on Prescription is friendly and welcoming and provides art courses for people who are finding life a little tough: people who are lonely, stressed or not feeling very confident about themselves and also those suffering from anxiety or depression.

    Our courses are open to anyone that hasnt used Arts on Prescription before and now students can be re-referred by a health care professional, as long as they havent attended a course within the last year. You can keep up to date with information about new courses, becoming a volunteer and our other projects through our blog: artsop.blogspot.co.uk

    Function and Conference Room HireIf you are looking for a venue to hold a business conference, special birthday party or awards ceremony, then The ACE Centre in Nelson is the place.This state-of-the-art building is the perfect place to celebrate any occasion. With its stylish function suite, large dance floor, well-stocked bar and atmospheric lighting, it is the ideal setting for any event.

    The hospitality staff will offer you their expertise and guidance to help you arrange your function and the experienced team of banqueting personnel and talented, top-class chefs offer a wide range of buffets and banquets to suit all tastes and budgets.

    The centre also has a number of smaller intimate meeting rooms which work well for groups of 20 or less, or smaller training sessions.

    For larger events, there are two conference rooms which come equipped with projectors, built-in screens, a speaker system and wireless access. Each of the conference rooms can hold up to 150 people, or you can join them together to accommodate up to 300 delegates in total.
