Ford & Associates Architects

New mixed retail development in Westerville, Ohio. The center sets a new standard for retail design in Westerville with modern sensibilities, high quality materials, and contemporary details.

I provided architectural design, 3D modeling, graphics, renderings, and assisted in planning & zoning approval, full construction documents, and construction administration.

STATE BANK, 2015

Ford & Associates Architects

New offices and retail bank in Dublin, Ohio. As part of the new pedestrian-focused Bridge Street District, siting and design of the building were carefully considered to improve walkable conditions. Construction completed 2015.

I provided architectural design, 3D modeling, graphics, renderings, and assisted in planning & zoning approval.

WEXNER MEDICAL, 2016

Ford & Associates Architects

New medical office building for The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Part of the mixed use Kingsdale Center development. Currently under construction.

I provided design assistance, 3D modeling, graphics, renderings, and assisted in planning & zoning approval.

TATTAFFECT, 2012

A group installation based on my initial design. The final product became an interactive stage set using the location’s day-lighting to create various intentional and unintentional “tattoo” effects in which the viewer and the building itself were performers.

Part of a research seminar continuing Stephen Turk’s work at the Knowlton School with the changing idea of performance in the architectural discipline.

TRAVEL SKETCHESBy drawing our world, we are forced to observe it more carefully, which leads to a better understanding of structures and places.

I taught architectural drawing and sketching on several study abroad travel programs for the Knowlton School.
