New Westminster Public Library Carpet Replacement Addendum No. 1 City of New Westminster Nov. 17, 2015 R1 David Norman Architect Inc. Page 1 ADDENDUM NO. 1 1. INTENT This addendum is issued prior to signing of the contract to provide for certain provisions to and
clarifications of the work and contract documents. Execute work required by this addendum in accordance with applicable drawings and specifications.
2. DRAWINGS 2.1 Revise the scope of carpet tile at the Main Floor entry area as per attached drawing SK1.1. 2.2 See Flooring Legend on all drawings. Replace the text “Areas of Resilient Flooring” with “Areas of
Entry Mat Flooring”. Note that the floor substrate in the main entry vestibule is concrete unit pavers, and hence the originally specified resilient flooring for the entry vestibule shall be replaced with loose laid entry mat flooring.
3. SPECIFICATIONS 3.1 Delete entirely the Section 096515 - Resilient Flooring. Replace with the following: Entry Matt Flooring for Main Entry Vestibule Entry mat shall be Cyrus 4000, colour #20 “Charcoal”, with heavy duty ramp edging all sides, by
McCrann Cyrus Mfg.. Mat shall be provided in 1 piece, loose laid, and fit tightly to the side walls. 4. ATTACHMENTS 4.1 Drawing SK1.1 – REVISED SCOPE OF RESILIENT FLOORING 4.2 Floor matt spec sheet by McCrann Cyrus. END OF ADDENDUM
