V3L 1H9, hereinafter referred to as the “City”. 4.0 OFFER 4.1 The Bidder, having examined the Bid Documents and having gained full knowledge of the

4.2 The Contractor acknowledges that the City may, prior to contract award, negotiate changes

5.0 INDIVIDUAL PRICES 5.1 The OFFER (Total Base Bid) shown in 4.1 Part A Offer (above) shall be the total of the

amounts inserted for items listed below within the Individual Price category.

5.2 Each of these amounts shall truly represent the value of the work proportionate to the Total Base Bid.

5.3 The City will use the Individual Prices for internal accounting purposes and may delete items as required to meet budgetary limitations

5.4 Bidders shall base Individual Prices of descriptions and units as described in the Specifications, and shall be all found, including the proportionate amount of General Requirements, overhead and profit (see 13.0 Pricing Requirements of the Instructions to Bidders).

7.0 ADJUSTMENTS TO CONTRACT PRICE 7.1 The Contractor further offers to carry out any changes to the work authorized by the City

and to be compensated as provided in the General Conditions. 8.0 SCHEDULE 8.1 The Contractor is to commence the Work on September 6, 2016 an to achieve substantial

performance of the Work in a manner acceptable to the City by October 15, 2016. 8.2 Failure to commence or complete the Work within the time stated may result in

cancellation of the contract and completion of the Work by others. 9.0 ADDENDA 9.1 Any addenda issued by the City shall become part of the Bid Documents. 9.2 The Contractor acknowledges receipt of the following addenda and confirms that the Bid

PART 1 - GENERAL

1.1 Description:

Work Included: Centennial Community:

- Include fascia, soffits, beams, windows, trim, doors

- Separate price for stucco & siding (Separate Price No. 1)

Canada Games Pool: - Include all exterior doors & frames (outside face only)

- Exterior of Family Change only include: soffits, fascia, beams,

plywood, window trim/sash

- South side part East & part West include: soffits, fascia, beams,

overhead doors

Century House:

- Include plywood soffits, wood siding & trim, wood windows, stucco,

concrete, wood & metal doors & frames.

- Main entrance wood canopy, metal rails, south side aluminum

skylights.

- Pressure wash all exterior walls, trims, rails, canopies, skylights,

including the new west side addition.

- Separate price for painting the new west side addition. (Fiber

reinforced cement cladding and trim, and handrails.) (Separate Price

No. 2)

Parks Admin Building: - Include: Soffit and fascia boards, wood windows and trim

- Doors and frames, wood posts, shingle wall cladding, planter wood

boxes

- Dormer, steel rails, wood deck.

.1 Section Includes: All labor, materials, tools and other equipment, services and

supervision required to complete all exterior repainting work of all previously painted

surfaces as indicated on Finish Schedules and to the full extent of the specifications.

.2 Work under this Contract shall also include, but not necessarily be limited to:

.a Surface preparation of substrates as required for acceptance of paint, including

cleaning, small crack repair, patching, caulking, and making good surfaces and

areas to the limits defined under MPI Repainting Manual Preparation

requirements.

Refer to section 028213 Hazardous Materials Abatement for additional

requirements.
