A long time ago in the city of Lagos, a child was born. That child will soon grow into a girl, lady, woman, mother and grandmother. Her life will soon inspire thousands of individuals and her career impact millions of people across the world. Her name:

DR (Mrs.) Elizabeth Adebisi Osisanya, OON, JP - mama elegant.

Dr Mrs. Elizabeth Adebisi Osisanya was born early September 1933 to Mr. P.A Okubadejo and princess Alake Kosoko, of the Kosoko of Ereko royal family of Lagos state. She had her primary education at ST. John Anglican school Aroloya, in Lagos. After which she moved on to girl’s modern academy in Lagos.

After her formal education she took appointment at Kingsway stores, as a hairdresser in 1953 and 1957. This is where her immense creativity and capacity as a talented hairdresser came into the full glare of the company’s high ranking officials. This lead to her proceeding abroad for her formal academic course in the profession, where she attended the prestigious Morris institute of hairdressing, London. United kingdom, and graduated with Hon. Diploma in 1958.

Award of First All-Round Best Exhibitor in First Oyo State International Trade Fair, EXPOYO ’82.

Representative of West African Countries at the Word Hairstyling championship, Rotterdam 1980.

Winner of the Gold Trophy and Gold Scissors of The Federation of European hairdressing Schools.

Winner of the International Award Grand Prix Oscar for Enterprises in Spain in 1990

Winner African Woman Achievers (1994) in recognition of her outstanding service in projecting African Womanhood.
