Help Us Protect Our Residents
We will be having a two Mother’s Day Tea Party on Thursday May 11th and Friday May 12th to honor all Mother’s and Grandmothers. All Mothers, Grandmother’s & family members are welcome to attend, and we hope you can all make it. Thursday May 11th will be put on by Centennial High School with cards, deserts, and entertainment. On Friday May 12th Todd Gallant will be serenading the mothers with a high tea in the Atrium.
If you are sick, coughing, or have any cold or flu symptoms please do not visit. What might be a minor bug for somebody who is otherwise healthy can lead to a much more severe illness for somebody who has other medical conditions. The cold and flu season is lasting longer than normal—please wash your hands when you enter the building, between contact with residents, before and after eating, and after the washroom.

Alberta prairie’s quiet
sound,
‘till the wind starts mov-
ing it ‘round
When the wind stops,
And you look for your

Just gopher holes stick
out of the ground.

*****
Summer is coming, oh,
summer is near
With the leaves on the
trees and the sky blue and
clear
Small birds are singing
their fond notes so true
And wild flowers are
springing in the May
morning dew
Checker Pieces The Grumpy Men have
competed the checker sets. If you or a loved one would like to borrow our GIANT homemade checker pieces for a friendly
game—please stop by Recreation to get a bag. The checker tables are located in Bridlewood, Conservatory,
Shawnessy, and the Balcony in the Atrium.
Game on!
