It consists of nine (9) members representing specific categories, each serving a term of three (3) years after the initial start up. The LOS Committee recommends reappointment of Michael J. Mayo. The incumbent desires to continue to serve, is eligible for reappointment and was in attendance at the past calendar year LOS Committee meetings.

111. COMPOSITION,QUALIFICATIONS,TERMS & REMOVAL:

The Committee shall consist of nine (9) membera, appointed by majority vote of the Board of County Commissioners, with speciftc expertise in the following area: County Administration or dnlgnee (permanent Chair); County Fire Chief (Vic.Chair); two City Managera (representing one small city, one large city); two City Fire Chiefs ( one small city, one large city); one Labor Representative; one Flr•Rescue Advisory Board Member and one EMS Advisory Council Member. County employees shall be eligible for committee membership in any of the above listed categories. Non•County residents meeting the above eliglbillty criteria may be appointed to the Committee. Initial terms shall be staggered In one and two year periods and thereafter all terms will be for three years, except that the appointments for County Administrator (or deslgnee) a,d County Fire Chief may be permanent appointments.
