My Brothers,

We are officially half way through the 2012 orbit around the sun! Hats off

to all the lodges and brothers that are hard at work throughout the district. Par-

ticularly the current Masters, Wardens, and Heads of Appendant Orders, it is

through your productiveness and direction that the craft is moving forward with

the Grand Architect’s designs for Masonry. I hope to all of you, that the second

semester of this year will be even more gratifying and praiseworthy than the past

6 months.

We are about to head off to Grand Lodge for our annual assembly. Al-

though, we are going to be there for business there will be plenty of time for fel-

lowship. I look forward to spending a nice weekend with my brothers and espe-

cially looking forward to the D.D.G.M. roast. Be safe on your travels to and from

Orlando.

Brothers,

Allot of changes will be coming in the next month as we will have a new Grand

Master, a new Grand Line, and in our district a new DDGM, District Instructor, and

many new and returning committee members.

Words alone cannot tell our outgoing Brothers how thankful we are for the great

job they have done. I believe that the new district officers are well ready to take on

the challenge of keeping District 33 as one of the best, if not the best, district in Flor-

ida.

For all of the lodges Senior Wardens, I have already received calls from two

lodges setting their dates for their 2013 installations.

Masters and Wardens tracks the dates so we can try not to have more then one instal-

lation going on in the district at the same time. This allows brothers to attend as

Gavel from our Brothers at West Broward Lodge and WM Burnett wel-

comes you to attend one of the upcoming meetings to view the gavel in its

new home. Doric Lodge meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month,

Now that Grand Lodge is past us I would like to thank Right Worshipful

Joseph DeStefano, our Past District Deputy Grand Master for a wonderful

year. R:.W:. DeStefano is truly an upright man and mason. I also would like

to thank the Worshipful Masters, Lodge officers and the brethren of the 33rd

Masonic district for their hard work, dedication and commitment to our gentle

craft, Freemasonry.

Brethren of the Mighty 33rd,

I look forward to serving you, the brethren and lodges of the district as

District Instructor for the ensuing Grand Lodge year. According to Grand

Lodge, the District Instructor’s primary responsibility is to inform and in-

struct the brethren of the respective lodges on the Adopted Ritual for Grand

Lodge of Florida, not to police or enforce compliance. Keeping that in

mind, I have absolutely no intention of being confrontational or playing the

role of an enforcer as District Instructor.

Among the things being planned for this year are fielding a District De-

gree Team to compete in the Statewide Ritual Competition, implementing a

program of lodge instruction where the school of instruction comes to your

lodge. This will be in addition our monthly school of instruction. Addi-

tional information and details will be forthcoming in the very near future.

My Brothers, I plan to maintain a strong presence in the district, attend-

ing both stated communication meetings and degree nights as often as I am
