What is it?

• This coursework is for you to show you understand your best sport.

• In simple terms, you are required to look at the performance of someone in that sport and identify good and bad elements of performance.

Introduction• State your sport• State the name of the person you are writing

about – it could be yourself or a classmate• Describe that person´s role in the activity – are

they a goalkeeper? A forward? A mid-fielder?– E.g. what is their main job in the game - is it to

score goals? To stop the opposition from scoring?• List all the skills you need to be able to do to

play this sport (even the simple ones).

• Pick 3 strengths of the performer. These might be:– Fitness components– Skills– Part of their teamwork, etc.

• How do these strengths help them to be a good performer in this sport?– Explain in as much detail as possible.– What is it they do that makes them good at it?– How do you know that they are good at it?

• This is 50% of your Nota 4. That is 20% of your overall PE marks this semester.

• Therefore, it is something that you need to spend time on – it is not something you can complete in half an hour!

• The more detail the better.• You can hand this in to your teacher as many

times as you want before the deadline.
