2016-17 Accomplishments MassCUE has had another productive and busy year. Our Strategic Plan continues to guide our work. Our 4 Main Goals are: To educate, connect and inspire the educational community across Massachusetts To increase and diversify programs & services To increase mutually beneficial partnerships with intention To improve operations and governance of MassCUE In addition to the highlighted activities in this report, the Board continued with our rebranding efforts and updated our Bylaws and Policies Corporate Partners MassCUE is pleased to have the following sponsors as our Corporate Partners: Elections and Appointments The 2017 spring MassCUE Elections results: President: Bill Milot President-Elect: Rayna Freedman Secretary: Karen McGrath Treasurer: Jacqueline Prester Appointed: Eileen Belastock, Cathy Collins, Craig Juelis, Kim Keith, Bev Reber, and Kim Zajac. Membership Benefit: Atomic Learning MassCUE members continue to receive a complimentary subscription to Atomic Learning. Our members took advantage of 187 training modules with 160 members using the site on a regular basis. Professional Development & Special Programs Providing professional development is at the core of MassCUE. In addition to the conferences, we offer a variety of PD opportunities. This year we provided: Summer Boot Camp for Google Apps for Education Blended Learning Leadership Cohort Winter Googlepalooza (Lunenburg High School) 10 Learning Tours 6 Online Courses 5 F2F Workshops 3 districts for MassCUE4You (North River Collaborative, Cohasset and Amesbury) Special thanks to: Working with like-minded organizations is one of our Strategic Plan Goals. This year, we collaborated with M.A.S.S, MASCD, Tech&Learning, Center for Digital Education, LearnLaunch, MSLA, DESE, and California CUE. The results are richer opportunities for our members. RebrandingMassCUEhascontinuedtoworkwiththedigitalmarketingfirmViaspiretoguideusindevelopingournewpresenceincludingupdatingourwebsiteandexpandingoursocialmediaoutreach.ConferencesFallConference:MassCUEisknownforour2-dayconferenceatGilletteStadiuminOctober.OurkeynotespeakeronWednesdaywasDr.DallasDance,BaltimoreCountySuperintendentofSchools.OnThursdaywefeaturedourTed-talkstylekeynotewith4speakers:Dr.DavidDockterman,Dr.JosephMaruszczak,MattMillerandstudentCollinKeegan.Bothdays,wehadfeaturedspeakersSherryGick,AllisonMollica,Dr.KeciaRayandJessicaRoss.Therewereover2200participantsthatattendedover160sessionsduringthe2-dayconference.

SpringConference:Thefocusforourspringconferencewasleadership.WepartneredwithMASCDtohosttheeventatHolyCrossinMarch.Therewereover180participants.ThekeynotespeakerswereStarrSacksteinandSuzyBrooks.Participantsattended30sessionswith57presenters.
