OF GROWTH

IN GRACE

2 Peter 3:18

Necessity.

i.The fact that something

must happen or be done.

ii.A thing you must have and

cannot manage without it.

iii. A situation that must

happen and that cannot

be avoided.

1. Growth will cause us to

be aware and conscious

of our rights and

privileges in and with

God.

John 1:12

This new birth changes us

from inside out:

Rearranging our attitudes.

Rearranging our desires.

Rearranging our motives.

Being born makes you

physically alive and

places you in your parents

/ family.

Being born of God makes

you spiritually alive and

places you in God’s family.

Romans 8:12-17

Galatians 4:1-7

(Adoption) Sonship.

2. Growth will cause us to

feel the heartbeat of God.

Malachi 1:6-14

Bringing leftovers of

TIME, MONEY and

ENERGY.

Bringing our valuables to

God.

Bringing with good

attitude to God.

People should not offer

with:

Expedience.

Negligence.

Outright disobedience.

Romans 12:1-2

God has good, pleasing and

perfect plans for His children.

Christian are called not to

conform.

Believers are called to offer

themselves.

3. Growth will cause us to

understand our

responsibilities in the

Kingdom of God.

John 20:21

Believers are SENT. Jesus

passed the baton.

Acts 1:8

Believers are WITNESSERS

of Jesus to the ends of the

earth.

Matthew 5:13

Believers are SALT of the

earth.

Matthew 5:14

Believers are LIGHT of the

world.

Genesis 4:9

Believers are each

brothers keeper.

4. Growth will cause us to

rise to the mission of

God.

Matthew 3:8

REPENTANCE.

Matthew 4:17.

REPENTANCE.

Matthew 6:10

Your Kingdom come.

Your will be done.

5. Growth will make us

consistently think of

eternity.

Revelation 22:17.

5. Participation in the sacrament

of the breaking of bread

which Christ instituted and

commanded his followers to

observe.
