Dear Friends, is Christmas season I want to share with the AGCI family something that is heavy on my heart. I have been given the absolute blessing to work with adoptive families and children for the past 17 years through our adoption and orphan care ministry. e first time I stepped into a Bulgarian orphanage at the age of 18, my life was changed forever by what I saw. I will never forget the smell of neglect and the sight of despair, as I looked at the rows of babies silently wasting away. From that day forward, God put a passion in my heart to place these children, one by one, with loving families, and to not accept the unacceptable when it comes to children living in hopeless misery. Yet sadly, after uniting more than 2,600 children with families and annually serving more than 10,000 orphans and widows through orphan care, children still languish in deplorable conditions and today most face life without the opportunity to be adopted. Times have changed for international adoption and orphans. In 2004, orphans had a reason to hope… 45,298 orphans joined families worldwide through international adoption, with 22,991 adopted by U.S. families. 1 Adoption timelines averaged 12 months. AGCI’s ‘International Fees’ helped provide loving care to orphans who remained behind in their birth countries, by providing increased caregivers, nutrition and developmental programs. In 2012, hope is fading… Last year, an estimated 23,000 orphans worldwide found loving families through international adoption, with just 9,319 adopted by U.S. families. 2 at is less than half the number of children adopted in 2004. e cumulative effect of this decrease is that 342,876 children will not have been adopted into safe, permanent homes that could have been. 3 Adoption timelines now average three to four years. AGCI’s adoption income can no longer supplement orphan care. e number of international adoptions has plummeted to its lowest point in 15 years 4 , and for the estimated 153 million orphans 5 across the globe, the future looks very bleak. “ose who were left helpless put their trust in you. Dear Friends,

This Christmas season I want to share with the AGCI family something that is heavy on my heart.

I have been given the absolute blessing to work with adoptive families and children for the past 17 years through our adoption and orphan care ministry. The first time I stepped into a Bulgarian orphanage at the age of 18, my life was changed forever by what I saw.

In 2004, orphans had a reason to hope…

• 45,298 orphans joined families worldwide through international adoption, with 22,991 adopted by U.S. families.1 • Adoption timelines averaged 12 months.• AGCI’s ‘International Fees’ helped provide loving care to orphans who remained

behind in their birth countries, by providing increased caregivers, nutrition and developmental programs.

In 2012, hope is fading…• Last year, an estimated 23,000 orphans worldwide found

loving families through international adoption, with just 9,319 adopted by U.S. families.2 That is less than half the number of children adopted in 2004. The cumulative effect of this decrease is that 342,876 children will not have been adopted into safe, permanent homes that could have been.3

• Adoption timelines now average three to four years. • AGCI’s adoption income can no longer supplement

orphan care.

The number of international adoptions has plummeted to its lowest point in 15 years4, and for the estimated 153 million orphans5 across the globe, the future looks very bleak.

“Those who were left helpless put their trust in you. After all, you are the one who cares for orphans.”

Our ability to impact the lives of 10,000 orphans and vulnerable children in 2013 is in jeopardy. To continue this work All God’s Children needs to raise $850,000 each year.

I come before you to ask a very simple question, “Will you once again open your heart to an orphan child?”

There are two life changing ways for you to give hope and make a difference for an orphan this Christmas season.• Become a MONTHLY SPONSOR for as little as $35 a month. You can transform an orphan’s life with food,

shelter and an opportunity for an education.• Make a ONE-TIME GIFT. Your gift of any size helps provide Loving Care for orphans living in government

orphanages or on the streets.

I know there are so many worthy causes asking for your support during this season of giving. As I consider the many requests I receive, my thoughts always return to the orphans I have seen crowded together in cribs, begging in the streets, and picking through garbage dumps. As we celebrate Christ’s birth, the gift of hope God sent because of His love for us, please help share that same hope with orphans around the world. I pray that you will join my family and All God’s Children International, as we continue to reach out in love and offer hope this Christmas.

God Bless,
