Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) PathwayThe Career and College Promise Program(CCPP) ADN Pathway is designed for high school juniors and seniors who wish to begin their educational studies toward the Associate in Nursing Degree or a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing. The Pathway is part of the Uniform Articulation Agreement between the University of North Carolina’s Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing programs and the North Carolina Community College Associate Degree in Nursing Programs.

The ADN Pathway for the Career & College Promise Program is not a guarantee of admission into nursing programs at North Carolina Community Colleges or North Carolina Universities. Students interested in applying to nursing programs after high school must meet the eligibility requirements. The purpose of the pathway is to allow high school students the opportunity to take some of the general course requirements for eligibility. There may be additional requirements to be admitted into LPN, ADN, and/or BSN programs.
