NEW ApplicationThe Honeywell Integral Install Valve is an all-in-one unit designed to control and protect the connection of a wide rangeof equipment to the main water installation.A pressure reducing valve, double check valve type ‘EC’ and ashutoff device are combined in one unit. An extra port allowsfor the fitting of a pressure gauge (available as an accessory)to provide accurate checking of the outlet pressure to thewater dispenser when required.The integrated double check valve is a safety device in accordance with DIN EN 1717 to protect systems against backpressure, back flow and back syphonage of non-potable waterinto service pipe, plants and equipment.

HARDNESS

ADVANTAGES OF THE BANHARD CTU SYSTEM

• System doesn’t ‘mix’ carbon with the resin, so regeneration becomes possible withpositive results for the environment.

• The carbon is located in the riser tube, which is the best place for polishing the water,giving maximum taste reduction.

• Each vessel is fitted with a 3/4” NRV male fitting on the inlet/outlet, which is includedin the price. No extra fittings to buy or fit.

• Vessels are fitted with a bespoke head, which has two ‘O’ rings, offering an excellentseal of the head.

• The vessels use regenerated resin, which has a higher exchange capacity than newresin, so it will give maximum service time.

• We offer a regen service on most vessels. Please discuss your requirements with us.


TYPE 1 (BLACK/BLUE 2 PORT)+

TYPE 1 (BLACK/BLUE 2 PORT)+We recommend....The level of temporary water hardness of the mains should berecorded; a pressure limiting device and water meter should be fitted; units should be sizedfor 6 months use (where possible); equipment manufacturer’s recommendations should bechecked; and vessels should be flushed (5bv) to clear carbon fines.

TYPE 1 BLACK/BLUE - 2 PortTypical uses include coffee machines, water boilers and bulk brewersThe 2 port drilled head (2PDR) has a single inlet and single outlet. The integral bypassallows approximately 30%* untreated water to pass through, to improve taste, colourand odour, and increase capacity.

TYPE 2 RED - 2 PortTypical uses include coffee machines, low usage/high hardness applications, combination ovens, including Convotherm, Fagor, Falcon & Electrolux (see Type3 for ovens with quench)This vessel has 2 port drilled head (2PDR1.5), a single inlet/outlet, together with a bypass that allows approximately 18%* untreated water to pass through to service.

TYPE 3 BLACK - 3 PortUsed for combination ovens including Rational, Electrolux, Elona, Lincat, Kupperbusch, Lainox, Falcon and MKN (check equipment requirements).The 3 port head has a single inlet and two outlets. One of the outlets givestreated water (18%* blend) for feeding steam generators. TYPE 4 YELLOW - 2 PortUse limited to steam generatorsThe 2 port head has a single inlet/outlet (2PUD). As there is no bypass, 100% of the feed water is treated. Treated water can be quite aggressive, so we recommend that the suitability is confirmed first.
