In this course, you will learn the basic andadvanced editing operations of ArbortextEditor. The course emphasizes hands-onexperience, interaction between studentand instructor, and a solid foundation in thefundamental skills and commands of thisstructured authoring tool.After completing this course, you will knowhow to open, save, and close new and existingdocuments in Arbortext Editor. You will learnhow to perform basic edit operations, such ascut, copy, and paste. You will also learn how tofind and replace text and markup. You will learnhow to insert, change, and delete markup andtext. You will learn how to insert graphics andsymbols, create and insert text entities, andadd, modify, and delete attribute values. Youwill also learn how to create and edit tables.You will learn how to use proofreading tools,such as the spelling checker and thesaurus.Additionally, you will learn how to use profiles.You will learn how to use Arbortext Editor’schange tracking feature to track changesin your documents, and also learn how tocompare changes between different versionsof a document. In this course, you will learn how to createstylesheets for authoring. You will also learnhow to edit window displays, page outputs,and Web outputs.
